It's a tough time for everyone right now, businesses, families, people - we are all feeling the pinch and to say it's stressful is an understatement.
It's hard to know what to do and I am sure I am not the only one having sleepless nights worrying.
One things for sure though, I'll keep on trying and I'm a firm believer that if you work hard, try your very best, are full of good intentions and ideas and have a wonderful community supporting you, then you are in a much better place than most.
When The Boozy Book Club first started we were still, pretty much, at the tail end of lockdown and zoom was how we socialised. There was also probably a huge rise in subscriptions and buying things that made us feel happy and kept us entertained. That on top of a recession has changed everything a lot.
What hasn't changed is my passion, my passion to bring you great books, great authors, delicious cocktails and a whole lot of heart and care matching everything together in the box. For us to connect over books and for it to be fun. For it to feel special and for you to feel like you are a part of something special too.
So going forward I'm looking for ways to keep things current, to give all of you what you would like the most. I'm constantly trying to think of ways to bring the costs down and the value up and would love your suggestions for this too.
Thinking aloud here, but maybe I need to, it's how I think.
It would be great to have your input, after all it's your Book Club too.
(If you haven't looked in a while, please go check out this months book It's a beauty!)
Love K x
